CPU scaling on vCPU not MHz

As I know Turbonomic is scaling vCPU based on the MHZ or GHz config of the underlying physical Host. The problem with this is that we have some virtual machine groups with „consistent resizing“ but Turbonomic has actions for one vm to increase vCP...

Centralize Executed Actions between Turbonomic instances

If we want HA for any of the features that Turbonomic provides, our only option is to set up some sort of hot-warm configuration. With this configuration, actions are generated and performed locally only. If failovers have occurred in the past, it...

Enable a manual override to stop failing actions in the queue

Currently if there is an issue with permissions or a policy conflict, actions that were manually executed will continue to retry (appears to be indefinitely?) There should be a way to cancel that action so that the logs aren't filled with one-time...

Add list of groups to bottom of Details page

When viewing a virtual machine or database server the details page has a list of policies at the bottom of it so you can see what's applicable. It would be handy to also see a list of group memberships since all policies are tied to a group and it...

Add list of Policies to bottom of Volume details page for consistency

When viewing a virtual machine or database server the details page has a list of policies at the bottom of it, so you can see what's applicable. It would be handy to also see this list on volumes.

Enable functionality to display Disk Size Utilization

While Turbonomic might not be able to take action to downsize a particular disk based on utilization, it would be a good value-add to present this data, so that users could see if they need to replace the drive with one more appropriately sized fo...

Provide more granular label in UI for AWS RDS Aurora Volume types

Currently the UI only shows that an RDS instance is on aurora storage but not which type. Aurora offers two types of storage I/O and Standard https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/AuroraUserGuide/Aurora.Overview.StorageReliability.html

Turbonomic should be able to Suspend SQL Managed Instances

Turbonomic has suspend already for VMs and RDS servers. What about SQL MI? The customer would save on compute costs - but of course still have to pay for storage, etc.

Scaling Constraints could use more granular timeframe for observation period.

Currently the Minimum Observation Period max is 7 days. (you may need a couple weeks or month minimum to stabilize a workload). The Max Observation Period jumps from 30 days to 90 days. A happy medium in between like 45/60days would probably help ...

Enable a toggle feature to be able to execute actions in a more granular way for Database Server recommendations

Currently recommendations for RDS may have three distinct changes: Instance type, instance size, storage type. In cases where one or two of the recommendations don't make sense, allow a toggle to disable that recommendation (either on the action d...
