According to support matrix RHEL 9.x is not supported for self hosted backed installations. However vast majority of customers are using RHEL 9.x RHEL 9.x OS support required for Instana self hosted backend

Auto start netman when it goes down abruptly

Netman process helps in sending and receiving the messages to and from the agents. When it goes down unexpectedly, it has to come up automatically which will not impact the daily refresh as well.
