According to support matrix RHEL 9.x is not supported for self hosted backed installations. However vast majority of customers are using RHEL 9.x RHEL 9.x OS support required for Instana self hosted backend

monitor and alert for kubernetes job failures

It would be a great value add to have the ability to monitor and alert for kubernetes job failures. Our system runs a few cronjob nightly and we currently have no way to alert when one of these kubernetes jobs fails.

Arithmetic operations on dashboard widgets

The customer wants to be able to create a widget using simple operations (x % / + -...).One of the use cases is creating the widget displaying the count per minute so they have to divide the average by 60 which is not yet possible.

When collecting Prometheus Endpoints within Application pods all "prom applications" are listed on the host level. This isn't practible as it is not feasible to link them anyhow to the entity (in this case the pod).

Make Trace Latency = Trace Duration rather than duration of Root Span

In asynchronous processes this can disguise the true duration of a business process and prevent Instana from being able to alert when customers are having a bad experience.
