When creating a volume scaling policy I want to be able to easily select groups for the policies in the same way as the VM policies work.

Currently I have to use a regex expression to include all the groups that the policy applies to. This is highly inconvenient as every time I want to add a new group to the policy I have to construct a new regex expression.

Disable All Actions Switch under Global Default Policies must include Parking Actions. Currently does not.

People might assume that the Global Defaults Disable All Actions switch might work on Parking actions. And then during a cutover, machines would be turned off by accident causing massive disruption. EITHER this switch should INCLUDE parking action...

Automatic policy creation for instance type scale that take Availability Zones into consideration.

Sometimes, we encounter the error 'The requested configuration is currently not supported.' due to the instance scaling action. Example: t3.micro -> t3a.nano Regions where each instance type is supported: t3.micro: ap-northeast-1d, ap-northeast...

Newly created Instance Types not be added automatically added to the existing policies

We have observed that, the polices are being automatically changed such that the newly created instance types by Azure and Google cloud providers are being selected in all the existing policies. This should not be happening in the policies created...

Allow a method to report on cost savings (lost/hidden) by policy

Allow a way to look at actions that would be generated by policy but that are excluded. Example: If I create a policy to generate no actions on a specific subscription, I would like to be able to see what the "potential" savings are that are hidde...

Ignoring a proposed action for a certain period of time (hiding it from the Pending Action list for that period).

Turbonomic can generate many actions, but sometimes you may want to ignore a proposed action for a certain period of time after understanding its content. In such cases, it would be useful for operations if you could check the relevant action and ...

Have Turbonomic ignore DRS constraints if DRS is turned off on the cluster

I have some move policies that are failing to produce actions due to a restriction on "Segmentation Commodity" type constraint, built off of DRS rules imported from vCenter. However, even after I turned DRS off, it is still restricting the VMs eve...

Allow automatic WPA-enablement (based on some default policy settings) for newly discovered clusters/vms

As a sequel to https://automation-management.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/TURBO-I-321, it would provide great benefit to customers to have automatic (default) WPA settings for newly discovered clusters/VMs.
