"mediation-vcenter" enables the use of a proxy

Currently, "mediation-vcenter" does not have a feature for connecting to vCenter via a proxy as it is intended for on-premise use. However, as the use of VMC increases, accessing via a proxy will become necessary in environments with strict securi...

Turbonomic support for IBM Cloud Object Storage (On-Premises)

We request Turbonomic to support IBM Cloud Object Storage (On-Premises) as a storage optimization target. We would like to monitor the capacity and the actual usage of the storage and be able to take optimization actions as needed.

Better load balancing when on-prem cluster gets overutilized and note in the UI which tells the problem

Our on-premises virtualization clusters are stretched across two data centers. We aim to keep resource utilization in the clusters below 50% so that in the event of a data center failure, there are still enough resources available for all VMs. To ...

Expand parking functionaly beyond cloud VMs

Parking employs API calls to stop and start VMs running in the cloud. But why limit it to that? Understandably, the functionality was built for that particular and valuable use case, but it would be advantageous to extend that functionality to any...

More robust scheduling options for workflows

Please look into expanding the scheduling options for automation workflows and parking workflows. I think this would be extremely beneficial. Right now, I have a use case where we have certain servers that stay off until they are needed, such as c...

VVOL volumes are not providing data to Turbonomic. So the data cannot be stitched.

A customer with a vcenter target utilizing Pure Storage is missing storage capacity and usage information (storage access IOPS / latency) in Turbo for some VMs, but are getting those metrics for other VMs discovered from the same vCenter target , ...

Reflect host provision actions in the "Host Optimization Improvement" widget

In contrast to host suspension actions the "Host Optimization Improvement" widget does reflect host provisioning actions (see attached screenshot). According to engineering the reason is that the real-time market does not generate move actions bef...

Action Center Proof-UI: Better explaining reasons for Turbonomic's resource decisions, especially cluster scaling

If Turbonomic generates host provision actions the risk listed in the pending actions widget or in the action center is e.g. named "Clone <host name> on cloned ...". This is not the risk why Turbonomic has decided for a cluster scaling. The ...
