I create reports in TBM and would like to be able to build out reports with a Months column, a YearToDate metric column, and any additional dimensions and metrics.
To display the monthly values vertically, we would need the capability of trending the data by adding the "Months (Yr)" Time Dimension to the Rows (instead of Columns) section of a Table in a Report. (This is only possible whenever it's the only thing in the Rows section. It also fails to show Year To Date information and can only show Monthly metrics.)
Time Dimensions (specifically "Months (Yr)" in this case) can only be added to the Columns of a Table; which would spread the table horizontally with each month as a column.
It would be easier to read especially when bringing in multiple metrics and dimensions into the table if we could see the months vertically.
I will assess that is complete when I can bring "Months (Yr)" in the Rows section with other items in the Rows section and YTD metrics in the "Values" section.
@Dominic Nguyen I would like to understand why you want this capability. Can you give a couple business use case examples where you want this layout? Do you have any visual examples in Excel or some other tool?
