Ability to Send Data Validation Emails to Datalink Admins or Email list

Currently, in Datalink (Classic), there is a checkbox to validate the data.   This checkbox states that when validation fails, an email is sent to all users in the Datalink Admins role.    This is not true.   The email is sent to a limit of 10 users, assigned to roles that have the permission "AdministerDatalink".     Unfortunately, that means anyone assigned to the OOTB role for Admin, Budget Process Owner, Datalink, Datalink Admin, Enterprise Admin and Service Manager would receive an email (but only the first 10).  It is not clear to me how the first 10 are selected, but in our experience, we have had datalink validation failures and no one assigned to Datalink Admin received the email.  In fact, I don't believe any of our Admins received it either.   This is problematic.   There should be a way to control who is in receipt of the Datalink validation failures.

To rectify this, we will be forced to clone the OOTB roles and remove the AdministerDatalink permissions on the clone of Admin, Budget Process Owner, etc.   While on the surface that seems easy enough, we have a lot of role based reporting and report collection permissions that we will also have to update as part of the role cloning.

As a TBM Office Admin, I would like to be able to control the email recipients of Datalink Validation errors so the emails go to the individuals who will know what action to take when receiving such an email.   I will know this is complete, when the people I have identified, through whatever solution is identified are in receipt of any and all validation failure emails.
