Ability to delete files from Datadrop directly

At the moment we are unable to directly delete files from our DataDrop viewer and need to raise a support ticket.

It would be great if this was an option for us to self-serve.

Background of our issue:

  • many files get copied into DataDrop each day with the filename containing "DDMMMYY"
  • Datalink is scheduled to pick up the files every day
  • Issue: if the file is dropped after the scheduled DL time for whatever reason it remains in DataDrop and then the following day there will be two files on DataDrop. DL may pickup the incorrect file as both files will have the "DDMMMYY" format in their filename.
  • Unfortunately our IT team does not allow us to install FileZilla to be able to manage files on DataDrop ourselves
