IT Planning Multi-Year Reference Data Option

As a TBMA supporting IT Planning, we have a use case for enabling multi-year functionality as it relates to our reference data, specifically Labor Rates and Labor Allocation Rules.  Our FP&A team is currently forecasting 3 years within a Plan version in IT Planning and has expressed a desire to apply different labor rates and/or labor allocation rules logic to years 2 and 3 but because we are limited to one set of reference data per Plan version, we are unable to accommodate this specific request.

    Is there an overview of how all these different topics work together, because it becomes hard to be aware, what impacts what in which order:

    • Central Labor Allocation Rules

    • Plan Specific Labor Allocation Rules and their time specific adjustments

    • Labor Rates

    • Variable Adjustments

    • Adjustments in a specific plan

    We've added support for time-effective Labor Allocation Rules.

    Similar as for Exchange Rates, it should be possible to set rates on a monthly basis, e.g. August 2025 to July 2026.
