Proactive Support for Long Running Threads

Hi Guys,

I raised this ticket last night and as part of the investigation the team identified long running threads that they performed maintenance on, we noticed a very sharp increase in Dev Environment responsiveness and performance.

It’s been an ongoing observation that this long running threads are identified and then cancelled out BUT I have to raise a reactive ticket to find out.

Case: TS019819462

Why cant there be an operational process that automatically detects these and raises a ticket for customer approval to close them?

@Rob Wainwright– we discussed this a while back that this is just standard operational environment management and that in 2025 and the age of mature cloud platforms this really shouldn’t even be a conversation.

Please can I get some feedback on what steps can be put in place to proactively look for these stuck processes and take corrective action?

Thanks Sam
