Would the following address the concerns?
Display a [Total Calc Time] column in the Calc Explorer that ties out with the time shown in the Calculation Queue.
In the Sankey diagram for a build accessed from the Calc Explorer, add a flow to reflect the additional time reported in the Calculation Queue and add the additional time to the Duration in the Sankey view.
