Adding in the ability to use formulas in Apptio Planning.

I would like to discuss the idea of adding in the ability to create formulas within Apptio Planning.

In NatWest we would like to be able to use our the Labour and associated cost data to calculate an internal day rate cost for our staff, this Day Rate is used for internal staff recharging their costs to projects, we would like to be able to then use this formula with Apptio Planning to forecast the future Day Rates using the planning day to determine any future increases / decreases in staff recharges occurring based on any changes within our Labour pool mix.

This information would be useful to Business and Finance users as they will be able to forecast staff recharges in more detail and also see the impacts of staff plans on their change costs.

Currently this is being done in Excel and we would like to look in to an online / automated solution.
