Enable Fiscal-Year Awareness and Date Variable Offsets in Apptio Datalink Connectors

Apptio Datalink date variables currently resolve strictly to calendar-year logic and do not respect an organization’s configured fiscal calendar. In addition, while period offsets (e.g., -1, +1) can be applied when selecting time periods in the UI, there is no equivalent capability to apply offsets within Database connector queries or REST connector URLs. This creates misalignment between ingested data and fiscal-based reporting, increases operational overhead through manual query adjustments or duplicate connectors, and introduces inconsistency between UI-driven and connector-based ingestion. Enhancing Datalink to support fiscal-year–aware date variables and configurable offset parameters directly within connectors would improve automation, accuracy, and alignment with enterprise and public-sector financial reporting practices.
