This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Making the Default time period Dynamic in TBM Studio

The Default Time period to be changed to a dynamic setting of (t-1) in the Time Settings option.

Example- If the current month is April, the Default time period should be March and so on.

  • ADMIN RESPONSE
    Dec 9, 2024

I have moved this feature to the backlog with the following features:

    • A setting will control whether the Default Time Period is manually selected (current behavior) or dynamically determined based on current calendar date.
    • The Default Time Period can be based on a period offset from the current calendar period; values to be: Current Period or Previous Period.
      • Example: for Oct 3, 2023 calendar date:
      • Previous Period = Sept FY2023
      • Current Period = Oct FY2023
    • A date offset can be entered to support "when" to move from one period to the next Default Time Period.  (e.g., 6th )
      • Basic: based on specific calendar date.  (e.g, 6th calendar day = Friday, 6 Oct 2023)
      • Advanced: based on business day (e.g., 5th business day = Friday, 6 Oct 2023)
