MULTI CURRENCY PROJECT SETTINGS ENABLED BY DEFAULT DPENEDING ON THE RELEASE

Hello,

we are Australian company reporting in AUD only in Apptio. We work in highly regulated environment and all currency translations happens in the source GL/financial system that then converts multiple currencies and business entities into AUD reporting currency. 

The issue we currently had with R12.10.5 release, our project was locked by default into USD base multi currency project.

TBMA is unable to change to project settings as they are greyed out and all our reports showing USD while it is AUD.

We attempted to make changes via Multi Currency project by deleting and changing FX tables and it caused Cloudability product to break as their source billing data for AWS is in USD.

We have been advised on the temp solution to apply formulas at each object level which is unfortunately not scalable.

It seems that the issues are 2 products being incompatible and inability of TBMO to administer their own project settings,

We have been told that we were unfortunate to open the project on the release that locks you into default settings of multi currency and the only solution for us is to roll back all the check ins we made for the last 2 months. This is not obviously acceptable solution.

Please help us to resolve our issue permanently.

    @Ella Rustamova  I will follow up with you to make sure I fully understand the issue.  It sounds like we need to look more broadly at our cross-product impacts with the Multi-Currency Service.
