Numeric sort doesn't always sort as numeric

There are a number of places in Studio where sorting on a numeric field does not produce the expected result for negative values (appears to be sorting as a label).  For example in the Table step in the transform pipeline, an ascending sort yields the following:

These are not in ascending order, as -$0.06 is less than -$0.01.  This same sort does work in previous steps in the pipeline.  The same table with the same sort in a Formula step gives the correct result:

I've also noticed this in the Table view of a metric:

The behavior should be consistent and should result in the largest negative value being displayed as the first record no matter where you sort.  Numeric fields should always sort as numeric and never as labels.
