New Carbon Reporting Capability | Heatmap no longer an option | Impacting primary financial reports from proper migration

As we started migrating and modernizing our existing True Cost / TBM Studio reports into the new IBM Apptio Carbon Report Capability, we identified an important gap: heatmap visualizations are a key component in many of our current reports, but they are not yet available in the new reporting experience.

Because of this, our modernization efforts are currently limited to only those reports that do not depend on heatmaps. This creates a practical blocker for customers who want to move more fully from legacy reporting into the new modernized experience.

We strongly encourage IBM/Apptio to prioritize heatmap reporting capability so customers can migrate a much broader set of reports without losing critical visualizations that are already embedded in existing reporting packs.
