Support service based planning (quantity * rate)

Most customer already are planning services either from external providers or even internally. A functionality similar to what is provided in Labor and Labor Activitity tab would be needed:

  • Similar to Labor Tab: Allow user to enter a unit rate and monthly quantities. The monthly cost is then based on calculation of unit rate * monthly quantities. It would need to be possible to manage the rate centrally - the same as the labor rates, but the rates should also be time dependent, to cover changes in the rates.

  • Similar to Labor Activity Tab: Allow user to plan quantities on a demand "Cost Center" for service coming from a providing "Cost Center". The cost calculation logic should be same as above. Similar as in Labor Activity Tab this should generate charge and cross-charge line items to allow for Service to Service allocation

Currently the Labor and Labor Activity Tab has be used for that, which creates issues and misunderstandings for end users.
