Pivot Compatibility with 3 modeled metrics stacked bar charting

In Apptio Cost Transparency reporting, when creating a stacked bar chart, we can configure three modeled metrics to stack on top of each other by placing a dimension in the "Columns" section and the modeled metrics in the "Values" section of the component configuration. However, a noteworthy challenge arises when we seek to create a dynamic version of this stacked bar chart. Currently, there is no straightforward way to achieve this dynamic functionality.

As implied by the title, our objective is to change the default dimension within the "Columns" section of the component configuration dynamically. To accomplish this, we turn to the Pivot component, which allows us to create a dynamic list of dimensions that can be interchanged as needed. However, when testing the Pivot component as I did, it became apparent that it does not stack the three modeled metrics on top of each other as desired. Instead, it stacks the pivoted dimension onto each respective modeled metric.

To enhance our reporting capabilities, it would be highly beneficial to improve the compatibility between the Pivot component and the stacked bar chart. Specifically, we should aim to enable multiple modeled metrics to stack on top of each other dynamically. This enhancement would greatly enhance our reporting capabilities.

@Jenrish Chan  Will you provide a real-world business use case where you would want to have this functionality?

Monitoring to see if there is broader interest.
