When duplicating an ApptioBI report, have the option to "bake in" any selected global report filters into all of the widgets as pre-visualisation filters, removing set filters in process.

There are several occasions when I take a generic report and wish to save it for others to use, but want to give them a report with fixed filters and less options.

The idea is I have a generic report, I preselect the filters that configure what I want them to see, and then create a duplicate of the report. But when I create the duplicate, any set filters disappear from the global filter list (leaving only the "unset" filters) and those values are then embedded into each and every widget.

    Thanks for submitting this feature request. We understand the use case for retaining all filters when duplicating reports.

    While we don't currently have plans to support this functionality in Apptio BI, we can consider it as part of our Cloudability dashboarding improvements initiative. This type of filter management enhancement aligns with our goal of providing more flexible report customization options.

    Note that these filters already persist on a user-level, so you could have a single report with each user reflecting their own filters.
