Identify, similar to AWS and Azure tags/labels, where GCP LABEL values are being defined by prefixing the GCP Label KEY with that information

(I use tags and labels interchangeably, but i do mean that we use GCP Labels)

For AWS, account level tags/labels are prefixed like: cldy:aws:accountleveltag:cost_center.

For Azure subscription level tagslabels are prefixed like: cldy:azure:subscriptionleveltag:cost_center.

For GCP, however,  i don't see our GCP Labels identified in such a way to determine the hierarchial source of that label's value. This makes it extremely frustrating and confusing for our finance team to report on costs rolled up to the cost center label value ONLY defined at the project level.

Let me explain a little bit....

Our company requires only certain labels to be defined at the project level. But some teams have taken initiative to define those required labels on all resources within their respective projects. However, we recently found that some teams have "guessed" at the cost center code that they have been using to tag their resources, which cause a lot of chaos when Finance tried to use that tag's value to report on expenses. To migitate this, we recently updated all cost center label values added at the GCP project level only, with the correct cost center label values. Now when we pull reports, there are huge discrepanies to the value of the cost center label value, for a given GCP project, because some resources in the project still have the wrong cost center value.

Identifying where the GCP Label value is coming from (project, org, etc) would be extremely helpful and remove the added manual labor of identifying the actual cost center label value, in a report, at the project level. Please assist.
