We are in discussion with a large international company in Norway that has a great emphasis on professionalizing the way they work with FinOps. Our business partner Valoro have a dialogue with them and learned that currently they do not have a proper solution for reporting and optimizing cloud spend. They are currently depended on tools provided by Microsoft Azure.
One of the challenges preventing the client to procure a solution, like Cloudability, is the fact that they have their cloud subscriptions under the client tenant shared with thousands of other subscriptions for hundreds of business units all over the world. So, a solution would, before filtering, give them access to data for all business unites – and that is not allowed.
Do you know or could you check if Cloudability has a mechanism to only fetch data for one or more given business units or countries in such environment?

A second question would be around licensing. If we get the access to the master payer account to setup the credentials. How do we handle licensing costs? The customer would like to just include certain subscriptions for example for the department in Norway. Is the "monitored cloud spend" then calculated for the subscriptions included into Cloudability or for the whole global company?
