RELATED IDEAS

Add NetUnblendedCost and NetAmortizedCost from the CUR to Gov Cldy

It would be useful to have these two metrics:  NetUnblendedCost and NetAmortizedCost from the CUR added into Gov Cldy.  My understanding is that they will be added to Commercial but there are no plans for adding them to Gov Cldy.   Can these please be added to Gov Cldy as well?

    Thanks for flagging the GovCloud parity gap. This is tied to the GovCloud cost metric parity work already being tracked internally. I am moving this into review and keeping it aligned with that work.

    NetUnblendedCost and NetAmortizedCost are valid CUR fields, already implemented in Commercial Cloudability via NetAmortizedCostDecorator.scala in fjord-on-spark. The decorator runs as part of the CUR flavor pipeline.\n\nGovCloud customers use the PLAIN flavor, not CUR, so NetAmortizedCostDecorator never runs for them. The fields exist in the codebase but aren't applied to GovCloud data.\n\nFix: add net cost calculation to the PLAIN Amazon decorator path or create a GovCloud-specific variant. Filing a DATA ticket to track the engineering work.
