This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hi James, follow to a meeting with Sherwin Williams on the Burndown report they were looking for in the report. Here is a sample Report in Apptio BI - > https://app.apptio.com/cloudability#/apptiobi/reports/29aead1a-b9d9-468e-866e-5fe6a791c476
Hello, I will need more information to proceed.
Here at Sherwin Williams, we have a large number of commitments to spending on cloud products. We've built an ApptioBI dashboard that supports entering start>end dates, total commitment amount, and monthly spend. However, we have not found a way to apply that monthly spend against the commitment amount for burn-down tracking. Ultimately we want to see month-over-month reduction of each month spend against the total commitment amount with a balance and percentage of that burn-down.
Currently, on the Commitment Portfolio, for GCP, we provide the remaining commitment cost as well as the commitment cost of the analysis period selected. These values are aggregated across all support commitment types at the vendor level. This functionality should be released for AWS next week with Azure to follow in the second half of this year. From my perspective, this functionality delivers on your first ask.
In addition we want to set quarterly budgets as guardrails to stay within our commitment target. Our goal is for quarterly calibration of spend against budget targets, and monitor for course correct action if spend begins to exceed our budget/ commit targets.
I will need more information about this process. You are specifically looking for a commitment specific budgeting target? I'm happy to set up time to share our plans and talk with you about your use case further. Please request a Cloudability roadmap session about commitment management through your account team.
James
