Ability to Restrict Budget Visibility and Permissions

I would like to request an enhancement regarding the Budget functionality in Cloudability.

Currently, when a budget is created, it is automatically visible to all users within the organization, and any user can modify or delete it. This behavior is different from dashboards, which can be shared with specific users or with the entire organization.

Requested Feature:

  • The ability to define visibility and access permissions for each budget.
  • Option to share a budget with:
    • Specific users
    • Specific groups or teams
    • The entire organization (default option if desired)
  • Ability to set role-based permissions, such as:
    • View only
    • Edit
    • Delete

This feature would significantly improve governance, prevent accidental modifications, and align the budget functionality with the existing sharing model available for dashboards.
