RCG wants Apptio to natively support OU-level AWS tags (like “map_migrated”) instead of relying on workarounds such as Lambda-based replication, to avoid operational complexity and potential data integrity issues.

SITUATION: RCG wants to know why certain OU‑level AWS tags (e.g., “map_migrated”) are not appearing in Apptio despite being enabled in AWS cost allocation. STATUS: Currently, Apptio doesn't support importing OU level tags. 

SOLUTION: Implement an automated process (e.g., Lambda) to replicate OU‑level tags to the account level so they can be ingested by Apptio. 

ASK: While it is nice to know there is a workaround, RCG requests that Apptio be enhanced to natively recognize and leverage the OU tags. They would like to avoid work around and customizations as this will be a operational nightmare to manage. And data integrity issues down the lane.
