Request for AI Token ID and Invocation Metadata Visibility in Cloudability

Request to enhance Cloudability support for AI service billing metadata by ingesting and surfacing token level identifiers from CSP billing files wherever available.

Use Case:
Customers are increasingly adopting AI services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and GCP Vertex AI. There is a growing need to correlate AI consumption costs with operational level telemetry and application level usage.

Current Limitation:
Cloudability currently surfaces only the dimensions available in CSP billing exports, which generally include aggregated usage and pricing metrics but not token level identifiers or request level metadata.

Enhancement Requested:
Support ingestion and reporting of token IDs, request IDs, invocation IDs, or equivalent AI transaction identifiers from CSP billing files/APIs wherever exposed by the cloud providers. We understand that currently CSPs do not share these details via billing file but it would be great if we can make this as a request with respective CSPs (we have requested the customer to do the same).

• Improved AI cost observability
• Better chargeback/showback for AI workloads
• Correlation of AI requests with cost and usage data
• Enhanced troubleshooting and governance capabilities
• Better visibility into model consumption patterns and optimization opportunity
