Ensure Forecast Totals update consistently across tabs

By way of background, one finds that Forecast Totals are not updated consistently and at the same time across CFP.

1) I imported a modified forecast into the Plan

2) The system gives no confirmation that the import had completed or been successful so I referred to the totals, including in a re-exported forecast.

3) This is when I noticed the discrepancy between totals: the total on the Forecast total on the Forecast Variance tab updates to correctly show the total of the values in the imported file. However, the Forecast totals on the Forecast and Forecast Summary tabs do not update immediately. This, coupled, with the fact that no confirmation message is given on forecast import makes it quite confusing as to a) whether the forecast has loaded and b) what the correct Forecast total is.
