Having a Mapping of Compute Instances & attached volumes will help us avoid the manual work

Hi team,

Having a Mapping of Compute Instances with their corresponding Storage volumes will help us avoid the manual work. As a Finops team, we regularly get requests asking for the cost impact of decommissioning set of servers. Since Instance Cost & the cost of attached volumes are shown separately in the reports & resource inventory, we need to perform manual to arrive at the total cost of server.

Having any of the below possible options will help Finops teams like us:

1. In the resource inventory, having some new metric (say Total instance Cost / consolidated instance cost etc.,) that includes instance's cost plus all the cost of the attached volumes

2. Having the above new metric in addition to adjusted amortized cost so that we can build reports, accordingly, thereby simplifying our work of arriving at the total cost of an instance / server
