Cloudability Premium support MFA and/or IBMid

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Hi Team,
We have a critical situation at Cathay United bank in Taiwan where we have already sold IBM Cloudability Premium. After overcoming many feedback and expectations from CUB like better integration between the two products, seamless single sign on etc. CUB has mentioned MFA login to our products as critical to proceed.

Highlighting this point from the thread for easy reference:

MFA login is a mandatory requirement based on the customer's security policies. During the PoC phase, the customer approved Turbo SaaS because it was verified that MFA login could be fulfilled via IBMid. However, in the production environment, both CLDY & Turbo have switched to Frontdoor authentication, which currently does not support MFA login.

Since the customer does not have an external-facing SSO service, IBMid integration is the only viable option to meet their security requirements for MFA login. Therefore, we urgently request the Product Team to accelerate the integration of IBMid into the roadmap to avoid potential project delivery failures.

Cathay United Bank (CUB) Password Policy

For cloud-based SaaS services using password authentication, the following password policies must be enforced:

  1. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  2. User passwords must be at least 8 characters long and require a password reset every 90 days.
  3. New passwords cannot be the same as the previous six passwords.
  4. Passwords must include a combination of numbers, uppercase/lowercase letters, or symbols.
  5. Accounts will be locked after three failed password attempts and must be unlocked by a system administrator.
