Anomoly detection for incorrect pricing being received from vendors

Recent pricing anomolies in dev/test SKU pricing for certain Intel SKUs in North Switzerland resulted in 'incorrect' optimisation opportunities being presented to customer. Whilst the fault was with Microsoft and their pricing, the impact was seen by customers as Cloudability making nonsense recommendation and undermining the trust in the identified opportunities. My idea would be for Apptio to implement anomoly detection for the data they receive from vendors to ensure that they are not passing bad data straight through to customers and causing the risk that bad data drives incorrect change, in some case offering 50% saves but in reality causing 5% cost increases.
