Exclude previous day in day granularity reporting (Relevant to: Cldy, Apptio BI, and CFP)

Cloud Service Provider billing data is rarely dependable unless it is 24 to 36 hours old. This is because lots of processing happens within 24-36 hours in the past and the amounts for the previous day are consistently incorrect. Customers who I have delt with would much prefer the option to exclude the previous day, and as a customer this is my preference as well.

    Hello @Guest!

    Yesterday, custom rolling date ranges functionality has been made available to Cloudability Dashboards users. With this update you will be able to:

    • Exclude today/yesterday from the date range used in the Dashboards or Reports.

    • Configure any custom range, that will be updated every day with the new date range.

    We are planning to introduce a custom date range configuration option this month that should address some of the problem described here. An option to exclude the last one or two days will be available in the next Dashboards release.

    In retrospect I would apply this request also to monthly granularity reports as I have heard equal concern from customers in showing partial current months.
