Enhance/Limit role permission for ViewsFeatureCreateOwnViewsAccess

As the FinOps practitioner for a large organization, it is important that our tenants are able to be self sufficient in their data. As such, we have implemented a custom Cloudability user role that contains the permission ViewsFeatureCreateOwnViewsAccess enabling tenants to create views germane to their cloud programs. While this has been a useful permission addition, it would be beneficial if there were some guardrails on this feature that would allow the user to share views with individuals, but should not be allowed to share views across the organization.

    I think there is a value in this ask. You basically want to restrict the non-admin users who're able to create views using this permission 'ViewsFeatureCreateOwnViewsAccess', should be able to share the views only with specific users/individuals. However, if you have noticed, we've also release the feature of User Groups and Entra ID Groups and Views assignment can now be done at three levels: Individual Users, User/Entra ID Groups, and Across Organization. I would like to understand what you feel about these users being able to share views with User/Entra ID Groups also?

    Secondly, we're working on few more features such as: Introducing more filter dimension in Views filter, Allow Admins to clean-up the views (give them visibility of private views and delete them), be able to change the owner of views etc. Additionally, we're exploring how we can give read-only access to View tab to non-admin users which will allow them to see the definition of Views (which they have access to) to understand what data they're seeing (at present they see the data based on view access but don't know what data they're seeing).
