Enable Cloudability Rightsizing to Ingest Memory Usage Directly from Azure Platform Metrics (without DCR/AMA)

Currently, Cloudability’s Azure rightsizing recommendations require memory usage data to be ingested via DCR (Data Collection Rules) and AMA (Azure Monitor Agent) deployments on workloads. While this works, it creates unnecessary deployment overhead for customers who already have access to memory metrics through Azure’s Platform Metrics feature.

Azure now provides memory utilization data natively in Platform Metrics, without the need for additional agents or DCR configurations. This same data is already accessible to third-party tools via Azure Monitor APIs. Cloudability already pulls CPU%, network, and other metrics directly from Platform Metrics—this request is to extend that capability to Memory % as well.

By aligning with the native Azure offering, Cloudability could deliver memory-based rightsizing recommendations with no extra deployment complexity for customers.

Not sure why it is in future consideration, this is a limitation we have it would have been better if it is expedited.
