Enable Cloudability to Ingest Azure Data via Private Endpoint

Description:

We have a security policy that would need an exceptions process to be able to adopt Cloudability for Azure. We request an enhancement to allow Cloudability to ingest Azure cost and usage data through Azure Private Link or similar private endpoint options. This ensures data transfer occurs over a secure, private network path rather than the public internet.

Why is it useful?

This feature meets strict compliance and security requirements by preventing sensitive financial and operational data from traversing the public internet. It reduces risk, improves security posture, and supports organizations with regulated environments.

Who would benefit?

Enterprises in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, government, healthcare) and any organization with policies requiring private connectivity for data leaving their cloud environments.

How should it work?

Cloudability should provide an option to configure a private endpoint for data ingestion. This would leverage Azure Private Link or equivalent services to establish a secure, private connection between the customer’s Azure environment and Cloudability, without exposing traffic to the public internet.
