Only display full day of information in charts

Often the most recent day has a tendency to look like a reduction when you do not have the full days' worth of data in the tool. The ability to remove the last day or set charts to -1 day would help reduce confusion with end users

I'm sorry Emily, you're right. I should have been more specific when communicating the release of this functionality. This functionality is already available in our commercial deployments and the deployment in the GovCloud instance is planned for this week.

This does not appear to have been deployed yet in GovCloud, any idea when we can get this feature?

    Hi Nikkia!

Yesterday, custom rolling date ranges functionality has been made available to Cloudability Dashboards users. With this update you will be able to:

    • Exclude today/yesterday from the date range used in the Dashboards or Reports.

    • Configure any custom range, that will be updated every day with the new date range.

    Hi Nikkia!

We're currently working on adding another option to Cloudability reports that will allow users to select any custom rolling time window to based the widgets on. This way you will be able to configure a rolling date range such as "last 7 days excluding today" or "last 7 days excluding today and yesterday". In the future we're also planning to add an option to configure the time range for all widgets with one click and select a date range that excludes "today". I hope that we will see the custom rolling date range settings available in Cloudability Dashboards in June or July 2025.

Not sure how my requests landed under Apptio BI but this is targeted to Cloudability.

Hi Nikkia, thanks for your submission! This is a common request since data for the current isn't always fully processed and available for reporting. You could use a custom date range and select "rolling" in Apptio BI. We're exploring options to address this, such as allowing users to apply an offset (e.g., shifting the report by one day). @Weronika Wójciaczyk may reach out to better undertand your use case and gather feedback.
