TNPM 1.4.5 topology: how to specify 'file' for the UBA acquisition

Not able to add file option in URI path in the TNPM topology editor.

By default/dropdown only sftp/ftp options are available.

Some of the components (e.g. UBA) acquire their files from the local file system (either SAN mounted or LOCAL disks).

There's no way to accomodate this requirement with the current implementation as "file" option is not available from the topo editor.

One is limited to a "hacking" uproach using resmgr push the changes, but these changes will be wiped out by the topology editor next invocation.

    Greetings,

I see the status has changed to "Future consideration". What's the time-frame for that "future"?

Particularly the TNPM 1.4.5 is (supposed to be) the LAST version of the product...

Also this "idea" was logged back in July 1,2021 - today is October 22, 2021.

It took approx 3.5 months to come up with the nebulous update to the status for the "future"....
