Sharepoint Metrics Support

Customers are more frequently asking about the possibility to monitor their Sharepoint environment.
Sharepoint is hosted on IIS and developed using .NET CLR. Although closed source, it should be possible to extract metrics from within IIS and correlate them with the EUM script, if deployed. Currently we are only able to deploy the EUM script, which is very tricky in most cases. We only see generic information about the IIS but we cannot see how the Sharepoint service is performing right now or even form an application perspective out of it. Especially in a current case, where the Sharepoint environment is hosted for customers, the hoster cannot deploy the EUM script easily. Fetching the metrics though would add a massive opportunity for those Sharepoint administrators who are focusing on optimization and monitoring. The main concern is being able to see performance metrics and general KPIs so it's possible to pinpoint issues and find bottlenecks as well as failing sites.

Since we don't have high demand for Sharepoint it is not on our roadmap for 2023.

We can reconsider it after that period if demand increases.
