Improving Agent - Repo Mechanism

When there is a service outage in our internal repo (Nexus) that our dynamic Instana agents used, Instana agents are directly affected by this situation and their host discovery is disabled. 

We have started working to make our internal repo high available, but at the same time we are waiting for the following improvements from IBM:

 -An agent with update mode OFF should not continue to search for packages from the repo.

-The agent should not delete the package that is already on the repo without successfully pulling the current package from the repo.

    Hi Doruk,


    for a Nexus independent Agent, please refer to the static Agent deployment model. The static Agent will not connect with any repository, but is self contained and can be updated at your own schedule.

    Also they need :

    -Increasing the agent update interval to a period longer than 1 week via "com.instana.agent.main.config.UpdateManager.cfg" file.
