Instana Agent Logs specifically for both Solaris and Windows OS that monitors our JBOSS platforms is showing the same error against all active PIDS. This is not seen in the Instana SaaS Dashboard for the AP or in the JBOSS logs, it is only within the Instana Agent Logs.
Undertow is the web server component for JBOSS, it is an integral part of JBOSS, inbuilt, and is not a standalone Process or Service. From what we can see it is not causing any issues, but Instana Agent is recording a warning for it, over 10 Agent Logs we can see 17k messages for this.
Support have advised that this is correct functionality and unfortunately the only way to ignore it is by setting the level of logging to INFO, which we have all of our agents set to, this means that INFO does not exclude this error from the agent log.
Can we please have a feature improvement for the Agent to include the ability to exclude certain log entries from the log such as the above. As mentioned this is not being recorded or detected as a problem within JBOSS in our production host machines, so we don't fully understand why the Instana agent across all JBOSS platforms is recording it as an error, and only within the agent log.
