vSphere sensor should be able to monitor multiple vCenter environments

Most customers have multiple vCenter environments.   With the current design, customers must dedicate multiple VMs in order to monitor multiple vCenter environments.   This is a waste of resources and means that the customer must dedicate multiple servers to this task.

 

The requirement from the customer is to perform like IBM's older monitoring tools and like many of our competitors tools.   A single sensor should be able to monitor multiple vCenter servers.    The customer is aware that this needs to be a large server in order to handle the large load that it is managing and it may have scale limitations in terms of the number of vCenters and VMs that can be managed.
