Intoduction:
Quartz used to be the standard for scheduling in java application for years.
For modern applications JobRunr is the new standard and used a lot in modern applications.
https://www.jobrunr.io/en/documentation/alternatives/
Problem:
We noticed that jobrunr is not supported by instana. And a lot of our applications using Jobrunr don't have their scheduled jobs visible in instana, which makes it hard to alarm on bad jobs.
Idea:
Add JobRunr as a supported scheduling framework to support modern scheduling applications.

Hi,
Thank you for raising the request.
We understand and acknowledge that supporting Jobrunr is very valuable to you and us, but with our current backlog, it will not be possible to finish this in next 12 months
We suggest to use configuration based SDK as a workaround.
Thanks,
Mary
