Supports edge devices utilize Microshift

We believe that 5G will increase observability requirements for edge devices.
We hope that K3s, of course, will support Red Hat's Microshift before competing products to gain an advantage.

Hi Tetsuya! Nice to e-meet you. I'm Jayanth and I'm the Product Manager for Kubernetes at Instana. I was looking into your idea here.

K3s should work. Can you try it out and let me know if it doesn't work as expected? Regarding Microshift, as Martin mentioned, if it's Kubernetes-based, even though it's a lightweight version, monitoring should work. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for bringing this idea to our attention!

We are progressing towards support of K3s, other single node platforms are not planned to be officially tested. Nevertheless, as long as they are Kubernetes based, the Kubernetes sensor works.
