Custom dashboard for application perspective grouping custom prometheus metrics

Up to v257 on-prem it is not possible to create custom dashoard widget panel under an application perspective for (prometheus) custom metrics (only standard metrics like calls, latency or errorneous).
We want to to create custom dashboards over custom metrics e.g. functional metrics like 'purchases' scraped over prometheus endpoints per application.

    We are considering how to solve this and other integrations between Application Perspectives data and custom dashboards.

    Hello, if I understand the requirement correctly then I have good news for you as this feature already exists for some time.


    This feature requires either

    • SaaS or

    • self-hosted (Docker or Kubernetes) with BeeInstana being enabled
