Add capability to raise events for current resource usage by pod

Our customer monitors applications running in Kubernetes environment. The application may consume more resources than requests. When it reaches the limit OCP is restarting the pod, that causes service delay. They want to monitor when the resource consumption approaches the limits by raising an event.

Hi @Oleg Samoylov , nice to e-meet you! I'm Jayanth, the PM for Kubernetes at Instana.

Could you elaborate a bit on this idea? When you say resource consumption, what metrics specifically are you looking to track?

Apart from that, you should be able to set Smart Alerts for a wide variety of these use cases - monitoring usage and alerting when it reaches a threshold. Would that be useful?
