provide release marker time and scope focus

Currently when choosing a release in time picker the time focus is set with span around release time but selected scope is kept.
It would be very helpful to be able to select also release scope and being pointed to scoped monitoring, e.g. the chosen application perspective or service.

    Hi Christian,

thanks again for the input. Again, the scoped entity is ambiguous and might be a list of entities.

Unfortunately this requirement is not currently in our roadmap and will not be for the next 12/18 months.

If this feature is still a priority for your Instana implementation at that time, please reopen it to bring up to our attention and we will reevaluate for its inclusion.

    Thank you & best regards

Hi Christian, thanks for the input.

A release can cover multiple Applications or Services, so the "scope" might be ambiguous. I'll chat with the team if we see a possible solution here.

    Thanks

Addendum: Maybe splitting the release list in time picker in two selectable fields : Scope and Release Time
