Support for Red Hat AMQ Broker

We are using Red Hat AMQ Broker 7.11 for our critical transactional production. This component is very critical for our environnment.


In order to achive end to end observability, we need full tracing on Red Hat AMQ Broker 7.11  We know that Artemis Active MQ is supported by Instana but the Red Hat AMQ Broker is not supported.

Red Hat AMQ Broker 7  is a popular Red Hat solution. And it will be intersting to support this.

    Due to commitments to existing customers, prospects, and strategic initiatives, we don't have space to add this feature to our roadmap.

    However, if you think this feature is very important and has a business justification to be added to our roadmap, you can escalate it through scout program.

    Hello Carla,

    Thank you for your answers. Instana relies on client side for Tracing

    I will assign this Request to our Product Manager who takes care of Infrastructure Monitoring.

    I request to create a separate Request for Client side tracing, if that is still required.

    Thank you for suggesting an improvement to Instana; we highly value your input. We need few more inputs for investigating this request

    1. Are you looking for tracing at the broker side?

    2. Or, if the tracing is expected for client, which client are you using and which programming language?
