Automated fallback from IBM-hosted monitoring locations

When IBM offers hosted/maintained synthetic monitoring locations. it might be helpful to provide automated fallback or automated verification of failed tests.  For example, if a test fails from a monitor in a Virginia datacenter, retest from New York.  That will help to eliminate any false positives due to issues with the initial monitoring location (perhaps a routing problem to or from that datacenter or something similar).

    Dania,

Thank you for getting back. As noted for my other suggestion, I was in a sales demo evaluating Instana as a replacement for a tool we currently use.

This was one area where Instana does not seem to have feature parity:

Our current tool automatically retests failures from a second data center; that helps to reduce false positives caused the by any infrastructure issues with the primary monitoring datacenter.

All that said, it was suggestion from a sales demo, I'm not a current Instana customer.

    Thank you again,

    -David

Is not Consecutive failure feature helping you to reduce the false positives?
