Historical Data Migration - Onprem

With a transition for self hosted users from Docker to K3's (Standard Edition) we are seeing alot of customers asking for a data migration tool to save historical data. I understand that configuration is being worked at the moment, but it would be greatly appreciated if we could expedite the migration of historical data. OMR Systems has a large ELA and we are working to get them in an optimal situation for success. We are pitched the idea of running multiple systems in parallel until they gather enough data, but given the fact that they will be running large traces they have concerns that this will cause network issues. Here is some additional data from the customer around use case:

For running a parallel system, it would be difficult to traverse network due to security implemented from our private cloud to our legacy data center. And even if we get an exception to do this, it might overload the network bandwidth since we are generating a huge amount of app/stack trace, events and logs.

We need historical data to baseline and compare performance metrics and compliance report on events that occurred last year which caused production outage during business hours. I also tried a few months ago to migrate the entire database and instana docker to our cloud but since our network (ldap, domain, etc) and security is different, it didn’t work. In short, the historical data is needed for reporting and probably have a couple of months to move it out of the current data center once we switchover our prod platform to private cloud.
