For the Power systems, need local agent in VIOS similar to what others are certified for in https://community.ibm.com/community/user/power/viewdocument/vios-recognized-list

Local agent installations on the VIOS on Power Servers will help to fetch metrices at more granular level than the minimum 5m offered by the HMC. After discussion with Power sales team, this remains one of the main bottleneck to position Instana as native commands like iostat/vmstat/nmom provides rich metric data with high granularity than what pHMC sensor gives.

    Not in the roadmap for 2H 2024.

    It may be prioritized for 1H 2025 accordingly.
